New Postpaid SIM Limit
Starting from 28 February 2026, each individual can only register a maximum of 10 postpaid SIM cards in total across all telecommunication providers in Singapore. (Previously, it was 10 postpaid SIM cards per provider)

No. If you have already subscribed to more than 10 postpaid SIM cards before 28 February 2026, you can retain your existing lines. However, you will not be allowed to register any new postpaid SIM cards until your total count falls below the limit of 10.

Yes. Data-only SIM does come with a Mobile number. Though it cannot send SMS or make outgoing calls, it is still able to recieve incoming calls and SMS.
The 10-SIM limit applies to individual registrations. SIM cards registered under company or corporate subscription plans are not affected.
Corporate individual is registered under individual name & ID Therefore, corporate individual falls within 10 Postpaid SIM guideline.
Under current regulations, foreign passports are not accepted for postpaid SIM card registrations.
These measures aim to curb the rise of "SIM mules"—individuals who buy SIM cards in bulk to hand over to scammers. By limiting the number of lines per person, it becomes harder for criminal syndicates to obtain local numbers for fraudulent activities.
Sharing your SIM card or Singpass credentials is extremely dangerous. If these are used for scam activities, you will be held accountable. Under the new laws effective 30 December 2025, individuals who assist scammers (even by "renting" out their lines) face canning, Heavy fines and/or imprisonment.

Reject the offer immediately. Scammers often offer between $15 to $20 per SIM card. Accepting this money makes you an accomplice. If you suspect someone is engaging in such activities, you can report it to the Police Hotline at 1800-255-0000.
