ZYM eSIM

An eSIM is a digital SIM embedded in your phone. You don’t need a physical plastic card.

Effectively 31 March 2026, when you sign up at zym.sg, simply select "eSIM" as your SIM type during the sign up process.

In-store eSIM registration is currently under development and will be available very soon.

Starting 31 March 2026, new users can sign up for an eSIM directly at www.zym.sg.

We’re currently putting the finishing touches on our SIM-to-eSIM swap process. It’ll be ready for you very soon! Once we go live, you’ll be able to make the switch at any supported store or through our online support team.

Most flagship phones from the last few years support eSIM.

Tip: On certain device model, you can check by dialing *#06#. If you see an EID number, your device likely supports eSIM.

eSIMs offer instant connectivity. After completing your Singpass verification and registration, your activation QR code will land in your registered email within 15 - 20 minutes.

Do check out on your spam inbox, just in case.

Keep in mind that this code is valid for up to 5 scans. If you misplace the email containing the QR code, or if you exceed the scan limit, this is considered an eSIM replacement. A new eSIM will then be required, subject to a standard replacement fee of $10.90 (GST inclusive).

Yes. Please note there is a $2.00 switch fee (inclusive of GST) for both new eSIM sign-ups and physical-to-eSIM transitions.

Not at all. Your phone number remains exactly the same; only the "carrier" of that number changes from a plastic chip to a digital profile

To move an eSIM, you typically need to:

👉 Delete the eSIM from the old phone.
👉 Scan the Original QR code that we sent to your registered email previously.

Please note that this QR code is limited to 5 scans. Once this limit is reached, you will need to request an eSIM replacement from ZYM Mobile, which incurs a $10.90 admin fee.

If this situation happens, you get a new eSIM replacement. Please note there is a $10.90 . (inclusive of GST) SIM replacement fee applies.

Yes! ZYM’s roaming data plans work perfectly with eSIM. Just ensure "Data Roaming" is toggled ON for the eSIM line in your phone settings when you are abroad. Do ensure you are also connected to the preferred roaming network for optimal roaming experience.

Yes, it works, but only via Bluetooth. You’ll need to keep your phone nearby for the watch to stay connected.

ZYM doesn't support standalone cellular data or number sharing for wearables yet.
