VoLTE is here!

Say goodbye to dropped calls and hello to crystal-clear conversations!

Starting 15 Jul 2024, ZYM subscribers with VoLTE-compatible devices can reboot your devices to experience a new era of call quality, with faster connections and the freedom to surf and talk simultaneously.

VoLTE stands for Voice over LTE. It's a technology that allows high-quality voice calls to be made over a 4G LTE network instead of the traditional circuit-switched networks.

Superior call quality: HD voice for clearer, more natural-sounding calls.
Faster call setup: Calls connect almost instantly.
Improved network efficiency: More efficient use of network resources.
Simultaneous voice and data: Use data (e.g., web browsing) while on a call.

Traditional calls use circuit-switched networks, while VoLTE uses packet-switching over the data network (LTE). This allows for better quality and more efficient use of resources

Yes, your phone needs to be VoLTE-compatible. Most newer smartphones (4G / 5G) support VoLTE.

Need not worry...

VoLTE calls generally use slightly more data than traditional calls, but the difference is often negligible.

VoLTE settings usually found in the phone's settings menu under "Cellular" or "Mobile Networks."

Fear not!
